Obituary of Gary Myron Semenyna

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Gary Semenyna's passing. He joined Jesus on March 19, after having a sudden heart attack. 

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Semenyna and his children, Meagan (Tim) Schindel, Caleb (Hannah) Semenyna, Troy (Mackenzie) Semenyna and Carter Semenyna. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Levi, Everett and Austin Schindel. 

Gary was born in 1960 in Edmonton Alberta. He was the youngest of 7 children, born to Pete and Mary Semenyna. He is survived by his sister Betty, predeceased by his sister Vicky, and survived by brothers Richard, Ernie, Dennis and Bill, their families and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother in law, Lloyd (Kathe) Loewen and their children.

Gary was an incredible husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness, love and thoughtfulness to those around him. His faith in Jesus has left an imprint on those who have come into contact with him, that will not soon be forgotten. We take comfort and joy in knowing that our husband and father is now fully alive, with his Savior in Heaven. 

A Memorial Service in Gary's honour will be held on Friday, March 24th at 2:00 PM at The Wasa Community Hall.
