Obituary of Ione Clark

1961 - 2011

It is with great sorrow that the family of Ione Clark announce her passing on Thursday, July 28, 2011 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 50 years of age.

Ione was born on July 12, 1961 in Cranbrook, British Columbia. Ione loved singing, playing ball, quading, sewing and her job and she excelled at all of these things. In 2004 Ione was diagnosed but never let her illness stop her from caring for all those around her.

Ione is survived by her husband David Clark, her son Stephen, her daughter Anna, her parents Lornel and Flora Pocha, her siblings: Brian (Mena) Pocha, David (Sherrie) Pocha, Connie (Dan) Madsen, a very large number of uncles, aunts and cousins. Ione was predeceased by her grandparents Elva Hinch and Alan Pocha and Harold and Bessie Bannerman.

A memorial service for Ione will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10:00 am at The Dwelling Place (2324 - 2nd Street South) in Cranbrook, British Columbia.
