Dale Anthony Gamber
1957 - 2015
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Dale Gamber announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Cranbrook, BC at 57 years of age.
Dale was born on October 20, 1957 in Edmonton, Alberta. During fishing season, Dale loved to be out on the creeks and rivers around the Moyie, BC area. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed exploring the wilderness from a very young age. He would often strap his fishing rod onto his motorcycle in order to access remote areas that he couldn't get to in his truck. When fishing season was over, Dale put his woodworking and handyman skills to good use. He worked on completing his family's beautiful log cabin in Moyie, most of which he built by hand. He also played a mean guitar and loved jamming with the girls. He often watched Bonanza reruns while providing a running commentary, managing to be funny and annoying at the same time. His sense of humour and personality will be missed by all who knew him.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Lucy, his daughters Robyn (Jason) and Heather, his son Timothy, his mother Stella and brother Dean. Dale was predeceased by his daughter Kelly, Heather's twin sister, in 1988, and his father Clarence in 1991.
At Dale's request there will be no service. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in his honour may do so to the: Heart and Stroke Foundation at www.heartandstroke.ab.ca/site/ .
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service.
