It is with smiles and fondness that I think of you through memories gathered over the years. I especially remember Don and Shawna's wedding when Randy told the story about your shrubs getting burned during one of Don's "experiments", I looked over at you and saw laughter, humour and enjoyment expressed on your face, even though I did think that was the first time you heard what had actually happened. I think Frances Allen has expressed what I feel, you were a person so full of life with such a great sense of humour who always had time for a chat. I will miss the fun conversations (usually political of some level) we had when we did get together, although I must say there were never enough of them.
Goodbye dear gentle man, you were a wonderful person who was an absolute delight to have known. I know Don, Shawna and Olivia are going to miss you dreadfully as is all the family.
